Description: We are selling our vintage oyster plate for four oysters. It features four hand painted swans and yellow and pink roses along with a gold outline around each oyster area and around the rim of the entire plate. It measures approximately 9” inches diameter. We believe this plate dates to the 1930’s-1940’s. This plate MIGHT be unmarked Nippon. The colors are vibrant. There are some black dots of paint that look like it splattered when the plate was painted then glazed over. The back of the plate has 2 metal loops so the plate can hang on the wall if desired. There is some wear and discoloration on the bottom of the plate where it sat on a table or shelf. Please look at our photos carefully.
