This beautiful piece was given to me with very little backstory. I unfortunately do not know the age or history. The fruit and leaves relief carving shows some wear. There is a chip on the outer edge of the stone. It was clearly lovingly used over the years and likely handed down from generation to generation. The wood box also shows wear, chips, cracks, discoloration and scratches from years of storage and handling.
