Description: This vintage set of Hall's Superior Quality Silhouette Tavern serving bowls includes two pieces: one measuring 5-1/2 inches in diameter and the other 5 inches in diameter. They are both 2-1/2" in height. The bowls feature an Art Deco style with a glossy finish, a black silhouette design and goldtone rim on a off-white background. Made in the United States in the 1930s, these ceramic bowls are part of the Silhouette Tavern product line and showcase a decorative silhouette pattern. Perfect for all occasions, these round bowls add a touch of elegance to any table setting with their unique vintage charm. They are microwave and oven-proof (up to 450 degrees) that make them practical for everyday use. These serving bowls show normal aging wear and tear on the goldtone rims that only adds to the vintage look. There is a small minor chip on the 5" bowl that is barely noticeable (see photo).
