Description: I purchased this machine because nothing rock quite like an old Hsgstrom II. This one is original but has been modified to a hardtail bridge, and the complex switching has been changed to a simple toggle-3 position system. I did not do the mods, but for some it might make sense. The original switches can be problematic, and some settings not really to useful. Whoever did the install did a pretty good job, and the cover-up work and detail where the tremelo tail used to be is top notch. Plastic cover is beveled nicely. Everything else appears to be original with exception to the bridge obviously. The body, neck, frets, tuners are all in good shape, with the exception of a nice scrape on the body. These necks play super fast, and the pick-ups have a unique thump and bite, especially in the bridge position. I've seen Tom Bukovac, and the dude in King Gizzard use these old hags. True rock and roll machines. Will ship with a super beat up chipboard case. If you want a padded gigbag I'll add one for $40 more. Ship price to lower 48 only....
