The felt is all intact and in very good condition. It comes with a rare base as noted below. The base door has a small split, please see photos. This is a prototype 7-drawer Gerstner Base that was designed using the outside dimensions of our popular style B2705 Pro-Series Base. The standard design of the B2705 base has a 5-drawer layout, which includes 3 small drawers across the top and 2 full width drawers below. Gerstner & Sons designers modified the drawer layout by lowering the partition that separates the small drawers from the full-length drawers. The partition on this prototype base is just above the bottom long drawer, which allowed our designers to divide the area above the partition into two equal heights rows of drawers with 3 drawers in each row. The additional small drawers will give you even more flexibility to organize your wares in this Prototype Gerstner Base. This base is designed to fit any current or past 26" wide chest. This would include some of our most popular styles(52 Journeyman Chest, 82 Master Chest, 92XL Ultimate Chest, 2610 Journeyman Chest, and style 263 pro-Series Chest.)
