Description: This Vintage 60s 70s Gutmann G.C. CO Japan Bullfighter Matador Swing Guard Folding Pocket Knife is in good condition overall but shows expected signs of age and use. The blade is clearly marked "STAINLESS STEEL JAPAN" and "G.C. CO" on the reverse side of the ricasso. "G.C. CO" indicates importation by Gutmann Cutlery Company of New York. The blade has lost it's original factory edge and clear signs of sharpening and use are detectable. The blade opens manually and locks into place though a modest amount of "play" can be detected. Of note, the original blade swing-guard is intact and it still functions exactly as you would expect. The clear plastic grips show expected wear but are free of any marring or cracks. The Bullfighter / Matador scene is still crisp and colorful however a light "haze" from age can be detected on the scales.
