Not only is it used by the locals, but has always been considered the main fighting knife of the Gurga’s in the British army. The main knife is 16” overall with a 12” full tang blade. The rosewood handle is nicely inlaid. It also comes with the 2 little knives – the Karda (sharp knife) and the Chakmak ( the blunt knife) used for sharpening. The hand sewn leather sheath is embossed and in good condition. It even still has the two straps to connect to the soldier’s belt. This is a very heavy, sturdy knife. The knife is in such good condition that you could still use it today!
