Description: This vintage Gruen Curvex Long Case wristwatch is a stunning timepiece that will surely catch anyone's attention. The watch is not water-resistant and has a mechanical (manual) movement with 17 jewels. The Gruen Curvex is a Swiss-made watch that was manufactured between 1940-1949. It has a rectangular case size of 46mm long and a lug width of 13mm. This watch comes with its original box. It is a perfect addition to any watch collection and is sure to be a conversation starter. The watch was professionally restored by my local watchmaker at Global Watch Repair. The movement was cleaned and overhauled and keeps accurate time. The case and dial were also cleaned and restored. The watch also has a new maroon leather band that matches the interior of the watch case. There is also an original polished Gruen buckle on the new strap for "the icing on the cake".
