Description: This is as early Erie/Griswold No 8 baking gem pan. There are a number of versions of this pan and this appears to be a version 3 (per Haussler, Schiffer Publishing, 1997). This pan was probably cast late 1910s. No cracks, chips, or repairs. This item is from an old collection and was cleaned and seasoned, then stored for many years. Because the item was stored for many years, there may be spots of light surface rust. This can generally be washed away then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, items may take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
