Description: This is an original vintage (mid 20th century) green and white woven wicker sewing basket on white wood legs with floral needlepoint lid, pincushion on the inside of the lid, and organizer tray inside. Condition is good and the entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The satin fabric lining on the inside of the basket is a little faded and there are some loose threads inside the lid from being used as a pincushion. The tray has a couple cracks in it that have been taped (shown in the last photo) and one of the beaded strap on the inside of the lid is loose at one end but there is no other major damage. The handle is securely attached. The legs are securely attached and there is no loose wicker anywhere. The needlepoint upholstery on top might be a little soiled in spots, but is otherwise flawless. The basket legs will be unscrewed to avoid damage during shipping. All pieces will be packed securely and fully insured. Advertised shipping cost covers shipping within the lower 48 states only.
