I personally knew Bart and his family, who were also present. Bart inscribed the football “To Curtis (my nephew) Best Wishes” and signed his name “Bart Starr.” My nephew later had another individual sign the ball out of my presence, and I do not know who that person is. I reacquired this ball after the death of my nephew.I have provided a certificate of authenticity. I guarantee that all signature of Bart Starr is genuine and that it was signed in my presence. I am a longtime fan, and collector of many sports teams' items. My only reasons for selling this and my other treasured collectibles is due to my age and poor health. My wife tells me she would not know what to do with them when I "kick-the-bucket." Thus, I am on a mission to find all my treasured collectibles a good home. So, from my collection to yours.
