There is light discoloration of the front and back covers, which are white, and two inscriptions have been written in a pleasant hand. The book is black-and-white, approximately 160 pages, and has several pages of fun 1960s ads for businesses in the Harvey area outside of New Orleans. I collect cookbooks, and have not seen this New Orleans cookbook before, though its follow-up has turned up online--this one does not appear to ever have been listed anywhere.
