Description: This is an empty Spalding Golf Ball Box. It is the smaller box which originally held six golf balls. THE BOX IS EMPTY, NO BALLS INCLUDED. The size is 3 3/4 X 5 1/2 X 2 inches. The top lid shows a print of Bobby Jones putting at Winged Foot in the U. S. Open of 1929. These boxes were made in the 1950s. This one is in very good/excellent used condition. It has survived very well as many of these boxes have damage and the hinges were not sturdy. This one is extraordinarily nice condition. The hinge is strong and tight with no separation. The colors are bright with no fading. The corners are sharp and no signs of bumping. There is a smudge of the remains of a sticker removal on the bottom. There are 2 very light small scratches on the bottom corners. The inside is imitation cork lined and is in very good condition. This is a real nice example of these popular Spalding boxes. Seldom found in such good condition
