Description: Vintage small elephant ashtray. Made of porcelain. Marked Gold Castle / Goldcastle Made in Japan. Ashtray is approximately 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" and 3 3/8" high - tabletop to top of raised trunk. Floral design on ashtray. Gold trim on ashtray. There is a line of pitting on the ashtray below the elephant - maybe not smoothed out at manufacture and it is brown in that area. There is visible glue where the elephant was applied - not sure if it was made this way originally or not. There is a dark speck under the glaze on the elephants back. Some wear to the gold trim. No chips or cracks. Some shelf wear to the bottom. Local pick up is available. We use recycled packing whenever possible.
