Description: This vintage GENTEX SPH-4B double visor helmet is perfect for collectors of militaria. The helmet is designed for use by helicopter pilots and comes in an extra large size. It features a unique design and is made from high-quality materials. The helmet also comes with a bag for easy storage and transportation. This is an awesome helmet! It used to belong to Clair Mendenhall who was an aviator in the US army. The helmet is in relatively good condition and has two visors. The audio plugin is still in the helmet, but the microphone is detached and would need some extra parts to make it whole again. The helmet is honestly in super good shape, and there’s not that much cosmetic damage. There is only one clip attaching the second visor in however. I’m not sure where the other one is. I am also unsure if this works or not, but I imagine that does based on its good condition. There is a flight cap that is in this lot, along with a flight bag that the helmet is in. The bags stitching is coming undone but that should be pictured. Message if you have any questions or need clarification on anything.
