Dated 1978, 1981 Garfield, United Feature Syndicate, Inc., and Enesco branding on the back side of each book end and Korea. One featuring Garfield sleeping and the other Odie. Made of ceramic material with the painted details. There are a few small nicks on the side back edge of the Garfield book end and a couple on Odie side edge and along the round front underside area. Please do not purchase if any of this is a concern for you. The black pads on the bottoms are deteriorating which is very common on these items due to the type of material that was used (see photo of black specs on the Garfield label on the back side from handling will come off and shown on finger). Will easily wipe off item and hand. New owner can either glue felt or another type material to cover this area. Will leave to new owner to decide what to use on the underside base or leave as is. Please do not purchase if any of this is a concern for you. Antioch Publishing Company, Made in USA markings on the back of the box and on the book label/sticker is dated 1978 Garfield, United Feature Syndicate, Inc. with Jim Davis. There are 27 labels unused in the box. There is no count on the box.
