An interesting galvanised steel carrier which we believe was intended for wine bottles but could possibly also be for milk. We think this one is French, Art Deco in styling and possibly dates back to the 1920s or 1930s. 30cm long and 30cm high, it will easily carry six standard wine bottles, with room for larger sized ones. Made from twisted and welded galvanised steel strips with a wooden handle, this one has remained in good condition with a little wear but no significant damage. Weighs 1.24kg.
