Description: This jacket is a part of a French policeman's uniform made of a heavy dark blue wool and polyester blend fabric with a twill weave. On each of the buttons there are laurel leaves and the words "POLICE". There are blue tabs on the shoulders that would hold rank lines. I date this lovely vintage coat to the 1970's-1980's. This is a very sturdy uniform perfect for a costume or wonderful for collectors! ~*~ ( 6 ) MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately: 26.25 inches long 21.25 inch sleeves 20 inch shoulder ( measured straight across the back seam to seam) 24.5 inches across the chest, laid flat from one underarm to the other CONDITION : We have left this coat in unwashed condition for collectors. This coat isn't quite parade ready, but close! I recommend dry cleaning, this should clean beautifully! There is some wear on the bottom hem and some small tears on the backside of this hem.
