Frank Treuting bowls have sold for $3000+. FRANK TREUTING 1921 - 2003 81 YEARS Frank moved permanently to Three Rivers, Ca. in 1949. He assisted Carroll Barnes in several of his large projects, which included the 25-ton College of the Sequoias “Giant,” the City of Dinuba’s “Hand and Grapes,” and the 16½-foot statue of the legendary lumberjack Paul Bunyan, carved from a 25-foot downed giant sequoia tree, that today stands in front of the Three Rivers Historical Museum. Upon his arrival in Kaweah Country, Frank also began working with local woods such as giant sequoia, oak, and buckeye, creating sculptures and his signature. This bowl is stunning and is approximately 50+ years old. It’s actually a piece of art and history. This bowl is carved out of a big piece of burl wood. There are some light scratches inside the bowl. There are no cracks or chips. Any Questions? Email Me Smoke-free Home
