Made of heavy high-quality blue glass, it features a wonderful panel design with alternating plain panels with eagle & torch decorated frosted coin medallions panels - around the circumference of the base and lid. The ice blue color is quite striking. It showcases the craftsmanship of Fostoria, a renowned manufacturer in the United States. With a mid-century modern style and elegant glass production, this lidded pedestal bowl is a great vintage piece to add to your home. Good condition but there is a scuff to one spot on the outer rim and a flea bit to the finial.
