Luxuious silk scarf in abstract geometric design by the Swiss Fisba Stoffels Company. Hand Rolled Main Color: Red, Blue, Purple and Gray Size: 31 1/2" x 32" Content: Pure Silk, Medium Crepe de Chine Signed Fisba Stoffels, Cloth Tag Good vintage condition: no damage, odor, stain or discoloration. There is a very small spot on the scarf (see last pic). Fisba-Stoffels, like many Swiss textile companies, was founded in St. Gallen in 1895. It was called Fisba-Stoffels Taschentuch AG (Taschentuch means handkerchief). In 1907 they built a factory in Elgg (canton of Zurich) and started to produce not only handkerchiefs, but also scarves in high quality cotton and silk. In 1988 they fusioned with the Fischbacher company, and the name Fisba-Stoffels disappeared. Today there are highly collectible items.
