Description: Vintage Fenton Burmese Hand Painted 9" tall Vase Signed by D. Fredrick Gorgeous hand painted and signed Fenton art glass vase by artist Dane Fredrick. The melon shaped vase is created in the Burmese Diamond Optic pattern; which features a soft peach color with subtle pink crisscross lattice design and finished with a ruffled, crimped edge. Hand painted with a delicate floral rose pattern in shades of pink, accented with lavender and white. Hand signed on the bottom in green Hand painted by D. Fredrick; along with the embossed Fenton logo. Crafted with pride by the skilled glass masters of Fenton. In excellent condition free of chips, cracks or damage. Measures approximately 9" tall x 6.5" in diameter at the widest point. From the internet: The Fenton Art Glass Company was founded in 1905 by brothers Frank L. Fenton and John W. Fenton in an old glass factory in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Originally, they painted glass blanks from other glass makers, but started making their own glass when they became able to buy the materials they needed. They moved across the Ohio river to Williamstown, West Virginia, and built a factory in 1906. The first year for glass production was 1907.
