Description: Round lithographed (not a paper label) tin container for Eureka brand Tape Repair, manufactured by Chicago Steel Tape Co., Chicago, ILL. The tin measures 1" in diameter and stands 2 1/4" tall. Not quite sure what type of tape this product was meant to repair but it had to be rather large and made of metal, as the 3 metal repair pieces and the directions clearly point in that direction. Has its original lid and also the sandpaper mentioned in the directions. Front of tin in good condition, with a few minor marks. Back has a few minor paint flakes and a few marks-nothing major but they are there. My guess is that this was made and sold in the late 1930's and then the tin container was discontinued during the War, as I found on ebay a similar product but it made in the form of a wood tube and covered by a paper label (and at a much higher price). This tin is the only one like it on ebay.
