Description: Up for your consideration is an Ekenas of Sweden lead crystal egg paperweight with an etched design depicting a lion for the Leo Zodiac sign (July 23- August 22). Ekenas had a series of these eggs in signs of the Zodiac and also flowers of the month. The back side (opposite the etched design) has a small flat oval cut to allow the egg to remain stationary and not to roll. The egg paperweight "stands" 3 inches tall, measures 2 1/8 inches across, and weighs 13 1/8 ounces. The crystal egg is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
