Description: This vintage ecru linen set is a beautiful addition to any kitchen or dining room. The set includes 8 napkins, 8 placemats, and a runner, all in a rectangular shape and featuring scalloped edges with embroidery and cutwork. The runner (28" x 15") has large designs at each corner with pears and cherries, as well as a cherries at three places on each long edge. The placemats (17" x 11" ) have pears at 2 corners (what I'd consider the bottom, closer to the table edge) and cherries at the other 2 corners as well as a cherry at the center of each long edge. The napkins (14.5" square) has a large cherry flanked by two smaller ones at one corner, and scalloped edges at the others. All in ecru with taupe embroidery, typical of Madeira. But these are vintage, and have no tags or labels showing the origin.
