Description: Vintage Early 1960’s Lionel Set w Missile Launch & Exploding Boxcar B&O. The launch platform works. The helicopter works. The exploding box car works properly. It’s a fun set. The submarine is untested. I’m hoping the photos will show the nice condition of everything here. The following exceptions are: The one half of the small tail blade of the helicopter appears to be missing probably from landing. The cone head of the submarine appears to have been glued at some point, the residue can probably be removed, but I’m not sure, it doesn’t feel raised to the touch. On the launch platform, it appears that the radar scanner has broken off from the post (missing). The transformer works fine, but only if the cord is bent towards 90° the plug indicating an issue with the conductor inside the plug where meet up with the receptacle lugs. The plug-end should be replaced. The cord is still soft. The missile launcher throws the missile about 5 feet and it’s kind of fun to use and the exploding boxcar arms nicely and will explode when hit. I sure wish I would’ve had one of these back in the day! The rollers on the locomotive appear that that was not really used much. I recommend messaging for a shipping quote.
