Description: This is a nice Vintage "Drowsy Village" Framed Serigraph Edward Horace Nicholson. This piece is in pretty nice condition with no nicks or tears and everything ships exactly as shown. The dimensions of this piece are 26” long x 22” wide and the sight is 19 1/2” long x 15 1/2” wide. Edward Nicholson was in Lincoln Illinois. Early formative years were spent in Peoria. Concentrated art studies began at The Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and continued at Chicago Art Institute, Grand Central School of Art and with Wayman Adams. Mr. Nicholson has exhibited in regional and national art shows. 25 major prize awards have been won. He is noted as a Portrait painter, but has produced many still life’s and landscapes in oil and water. Some time has been devoted to serigraph prints. Before his passing, he was a member of the Illinois Art League, Hoosier Salon, International Institute of Arts and Letters, and the American Artists Professional League.
