Description: Offered is a 1970s or early 80s MICKEY MOUSE CLUB RED & WHITE SATIN FOOTBALL ALL STARS JACKET with an Old Time Mickey Mouse Club Walt Disney Productions EMBROIDERY PATCH over the right chest and MICKEY MOUSE ALL STARS with a FOOTBALL HELMET with the letter “ M” for the Mick’s team on the helmet over the left chest. It’s a Classic ATHLETE’S-JACKET with FIVE WHITE SNAP BUTTONS that are all in good shape. (Please view the many pictures) The neck line waist line & sleeve ends have a stretch fabric with red and white stripes. There are sporty stripes on both arms made of a fabric strips. The reverse side has a classic olden day, Mickey Mouse as QUARTERBACK, and it reads ALL STARS with Mick holding onto the pigskin getting ready to throw a touchdown pass inside a star. There’s another gold star with a large M on his helmet and also inside the white star. WALT DISNEY COMPANY in fine print on the back of the jacket. I’m not sure if the patch was added on the front after, which says Walt DisneyProductions while the back says Walt Disney Company. I know there is a difference in the ages of how they marked their products. Manufactured by CHALK LINE which had been around since 1968. It says “WINNING WITH STYLE” “Made In The USA Size 5 it’s a hand wash, drip dry, do not iron, dry clean or bleach fabric and there’s a cute little sewn on identifier that says “Billy Jenkins.” It brought me back to my youth, which was in the 60s and my neighbor was little Billy Coombs and now I’m thinking well this was little Billy Jenkins jacket which is cool to me. It is exceptional to bring your child to Disney with this nostalgic piece. It’s excellent, there’s just a little bit of fray around the fabric strips that are sewn on to the arms that could be trimmed maybe just a little discoloration in a few spots on the stretch fabric in the wrist to hands area only. There is very minor loss of print, it is just wonderful and has stood the test of time with grace. Measures:: 14“ from armpit to armpit 17“ from the top of the jacket to the base.
