Description: Wallet for travel documents that appears to be leather. Has the logo of Cunard Sea Goddess. Closed it is 9 X 4 3/4 inches. Very good vintage condition. The Sea Goddess Line had planned to build eight identical luxury yachts. However before the programme was completed, the company faced financial trouble. As such, only two of the vessels were completed. The first vessel was Sea Goddess I, which entered service in 1984. Cunard Line acquired management right for these ships, and formed the Cunard Sea Goddess Brand, which was created to operate these two unique vessels. These small ships formed an unique offering for Cunard and became popular with a loyal group of regular travellers. When Carnival Corporation purchased Cunard in 1998, Cunard’s management was merged with Seabourn, another Carnival brand. Seabourn already operated a fleet of three luxury Yachts. As such, Sea Goddess I and Sea Goddess II were moved to Seabourn, and renamed Seabourn Goddess I and Seabourn Goddess II. The transfer of Sea Goddess I was completed by 19 January 2000. Today, the two ships sail as Sea Dream I and Sea Dream II as part of the Sea Dream Yacht Club, having been sold by Seabourn in 2001. _gsrx_vers_1436 (GS 9.0.5 (1436))
