Description: This is the first edition of William Ard's You'll Get Yours It was published in 1952, with Ard writing as Thomas Wills. Born in Brooklyn, Ard was a copywriter for an ad firm and a publicity writer for Warner Brothers, before taking up a freelance career after moving to Florida. You'll Get Yours is the first of two private eye novels featuring the detective Barney Glines. It is Lion Book #87, published by Martin Goodman, the founder of Marvel Comics. The story involves stolen diamonds, blackmail, and murder. In recent years, it has been reprinted by Stark House Press in their Black Gat paperback series. The front cover art is by Victor Olsen who painted many magazine and paperback covers and dust jackets for Doubleday, Avon, MacFadden, Bantam, and Monarch before garnering attention as a portrait artist. The book is in VG condition with crease lines to the front cover, more on the back cover. There is a crack across the spine. The interior paper is off-white to yellow, with absolutely no brittleness.
