Description: Vintage Craft Air King Ready-Cut RC BALSA MODEL PLANE KIT Bell Aircobra WWII. For your consideration a vintage balsa model airplane kit made by Air King out of Portland Oregon. A very cool kit made during WWII time period. All of the parts shown in the pictures are included. It looks complete but please review the pictures in detail to see everything. This is an uncut unused model even the tube of glue hasn’t been opened. Some of the pieces are printed on very thick paper. The rubber from the kit is brittle and would need to be replaced. Great graphics on the box. It is soft and has some tape it spots. There are acid free foam board pieces inside to support the box. There are 3 large pieces of tissue paper, I assume it’s just packaging. About the Aircobra: The Bell P-39 Airacobra was a fighter produced by Bell Aircraft produced for the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. It was one of the principal American fighters in service when the United States entered combat. The P-39 was used by the Soviet Air Force, and enabled individual Soviet pilots to collect the highest number of kills attributed to any U.S. fighter type flown by any air force in any conflict.[N 2] Other major users of the type included the Free French, the Royal Air Force, and the Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force.[4]
