Off white color. It takes a max 40 type A bulb. Pull on/off chain. Half round shape. it measures 10 1/2" L X 5 1/2" D X 5 1/4" H. The metal hooks have a thick plastic covering so not to scratch your furniture. Great piece to decorate. I had plans to do just that but never got around to it. The last photo shows it was a strip of fringed fabric that I had planed to hot glue on. It is actually a curtain tie back. You can find something that would work with your decor.
