Vintage Clinchfield Artware Pottery Erwin TN Hand Painted Blue Pitcher Creamer

Description: For sale is a beautiful vintage blue and green floral creamer/jug/mini pitcher. Made by Clinchfield Artware Pottery some time in the 40’s or 50’s. From researching I found that the company was open from 1917-1957. Up until the late 30’s their pieces were molded and then transfers, or decals were placed on the piece. The company then hired artists from Ohio and it is then that the hand painted piece ramped up. So this creamer is made of a ceramic mold and has been hand painted with blue flowers and green leaves. It measures 4.5 inches in length, 4 inches in height, and 3.5 inches in width. No chips, cracks or scratches. Does have some wear on top of handle. See photo 17. Also you can feel a small flea bite in the rim, but when you look closely it has been sponge painted over at the time of original painting. See photo #18.
