Description: This vintage paperweight is a unique addition to any collection. Made of clear lucite plastic, it is a 4 cm x 4 cm (roughly 1 1/2 inches) clear cube on a brushed silver base. It features a beautiful real 100 DM 1992 Deutsche Bundespost German postage stamp saluting he German state of Bayern (Bavaria). The opposite face is a graphical depiction of the outline of Bayern in cubes, which may have some fading. It reads "Bayern. The Quality Edge of New Europe." on the outside bottom is an inscription that reads "Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport" and that lettering is a little worn. The item was probably produced in Germany for business promotion investment in English speaking countries as there is no German on it except for the stamp itself. It is a great find for collectors of paperweights or lovers of Germany and Bavaria. Please ask questions. No returns.
