Description: Vintage Chunk Polished Turquoise Beaded Bracelet, Red Coral Pieces & Metal Separators. Purchased by me at the Pow Wow in Window Rock late 1980's. This was made by a young Navajo artist and owned by me. I do not have the paper he wrote his name on so cannot give that information. The Turquoise pieces come from different mines and are tumbled chunks of the stone. You can see some of the veining in the photos They are also differing in color as well as size. Separating each larger chunk are two metal flower like separators and a small irregular piece of coral. I particularly liked this as it had a more primitive appearance and the young man was very proud to tell me about his process. I have worn this many times and am now downsizing my collections. There are 7 large beads and one that hangs down when bracelet is attached. The clasp is toggle style and the beads are strung on something he call fox tail (I think) said it was very strong. Bracelet is 8" closed on your wrist. Shipping will be in a gift box and will ship First Class Small Package for 6.00 for all USA bidders. There will be tracking and insurance for the selling price.
