Description: **AS FOUND**AS FOUND**AS FOUND** Estate find with lot of Christmas decorations. 2-piece red satin like skirt and top with tinsel and sequined trim. Handmade. The skirt has a drawstring waist with an overall waist measurement of 32" and length of 25". There are two rows of sequined trim around the bottom that have been covered over with (glued on?) silver tinsel that will need some regluing. Balls made out of what looks like aluminum foil are also glued on. One side seam of the skirt is open (I believe it should be sewn up and is not a wrap skirt). The top has coordinating sequined trim across the chest, collar and hemline. Stand up collar. It is a pull on style but hook and eyes and snaps have been added down the back in what looks like an attempt to adjust the fit. It measures 15" from armpit to armpit across the back (with the adjusting hooks and snaps in place) and 17" long from the shoulder seam to the hemline. The overall appearance is that of a "toy soldier" or perhaps even a made over majorette costume. I am guessing this costume is from the 50's or 60's.
