Description: A Summer 1987 Chouinard Equipment Catalog. 8 1/2 x 11, 63 pages, printed in full color. Chouinard equipment went out of business and changed hands in 1989, and became black diamond. This was one of the later catalogs the company published since its inception in 1957. Shows some wear to the outside, visible in the photographs. The inside is in nice condition comparably, also visible in the photographs. Some minor water damage visible to the last page inside cover. No pages are sticking together, nor is there any symptom that pages have stuck together. All of the equipment was professionally photographed, the colors are still vibrant. These catalogs prove to be a great reference for the collector, often the primary reference. The summer catalog was always thicker and more comprehensive with product and great climbing photographs! This catalog has probably inspired a lot of dreams, saving up money for the Climbing Store, and imagining owning nearly everything in it! this one deserves a good home!
