Description: Vintage CHILD'S Advertising W.C. Strause 1953 PLAYING TENNIS Plate FLEETWOOD PA This vintage plate is an Advertising Item from Fleetwood PA - W.C. Strause features a charming wonderful design with a boy and girl playing tennis and dressed very whimsically. It is dated 1953 and has Gold Lettering for the Store and the date 1953. The small child's plate has a glossy finish and is made of ceramic or china material and is somewhat rounded at the corners but not a round shape. It also has a nice Gold Trim Edge all around the plate. Could be one of a kind! It is marked on the back with a backstamp of Iva-lure by Crooksville USA I.S. Very sweet! It measures approx 6" inches in diameter. This plate is an ideal addition to any collection of vintage or antique items, particularly those from this vintage era. Measurements and condition shown in pictures. There are some stilt marks on the base of the plate as most have. The top side is in good condition with some very tiny manufacturing mars to surface. There no cracks nor chips that can be seen on the top or bottom/base. It is in good to very good condition for the age of this item. Please see all photos for your estimation of condition. It is not perfect like a new item would be but it is very close! It displays very well. What a cute vignette!Thanks for looking.
