If you are a size Large in modern clothing this should fit you. If you are an extra large in todays sizes it may be snug!Please do check your measurements. The under bust measurement is about where the lace insert is & this does not stretch much. Actual measurements without stretching:Bust 40" which is unusual in my opinion because vintage full slips usually measure exactly the same as the tag size however this measurement does not take into account the fullness available from the accordion pleating at the bust.
