Description: This is a lovely multicolored bright crystal paperweight. It has five bubbles standing in a two layer mound of vibrantly colored glass chips with a sixth bubble in the center. There is a indented pontil in a concave base. It weighs 14.9 ounces and measures about 2 and a half inches across the bottom and stands about 2 and a half inches tall. This is part of a large collection of paperweights that belonged to my father. He recently passed away at the age of 95 and had a passion for collecting glass and paperweights for over 60 years. When he and my mother visited the Cambridge Glass factory where this was made they were told it was made by Charles Degenhart. This weight would have been made in the 1920's. All of my dad's weights are in pristine condition as you can see by the pictures. There are no markings on the weight that I can find which is not unusual. I do hope that you will enjoy adding this to your vintage glass collection. Good luck bidding!
