Estate Buy Outs! Yard Sale Liquidations! 4 Stars Collectibles has it all! Great Deals on Antiques & Collectibles! Up for auction today is a Vintage French Made, Arcade Style, Spinning Wheel Trade Stimulator. These Games or "Trade Stimulators" became famous during the 1930's as a form of discrete gambling in bars and other popular gathering locals, where a gumball, cigarette or other item would be given to disguise the actual gambling. This piece comes with a red metal frame and base, that holds the spinning wheel. The wheel is also made of metal and has two metal pins that sit on the wire frame and allow the wheel to spin when manually turned. The face or field shows the Four Suits of common playing cards, Heart, Spade, Diamond, and Club. Inside each of those symbols are numbers 1 through 4, and in between the symbols are green fields with numbers 1 through 4, so many ways to bet. There is a bag of plastic rings that one would use to place their bet. This vintage game comes in good, original, working condition with full instructions and betting rings. The instructions are in the French Language and read Chance Road, Regles Du Jeu (Rules of the Game). The Wheel indicator, that stops on a number is not included in place but there are two parts that may make up the indicator, not sure. These are also in the bag with the rings. The red metal body has minor wear and some paint wear. The Wheel comes in good condition with some light surface wear to the wheel field. The Betting surface in a paper label in good condition with some light wear. Overall a nice vintage machine in good condition. The original box is also included and comes in good condition with storage wear. The game will be double boxed to protect the original box. We've had this piece in our collection for many years, and have not been able to find another for reference purposes. From our personal collection as we've been collecting these types of games for years. Retirement is now forcing us to downsize and liquidate some of our collection.Sorry to see it go, but time for others to love it as much as we have. A great way to have fun at parties and make a few bets on the side. It will be packed well to protect it during shipping at no additional costs to the winner. See pics, ask any questions and good luck! (small black spot is from camera lens, and is not on the item) Winner gets this item for exact bid, and choices of displayed shipping costs.
