VINTAGE Carl ZEISS Jena Tessar 80mm f/2.8 Red T Chrome LENS w/ EXAKTA Mount

Description: Here's a bit of a Rare old camera lens--- made by Carl Zeiss in Germany, it's a Tessar 80mm f/2.8 Red T Lens. It has an Exakta Mount for cameras like the Varex etc--- I don't know which else...and, did they share the mount type with other cameras? I don't know. It's in Used Condition but still with pretty nice cosmetics--- the Exterior has some nicks and scuffs and tiny scratches to the aluminum body--- not too bad--- still has a nice shine and there are no serious dings or dents. The Glass itself is fairly Clean and Clear with colorful, bright coatings--- BUT with some significant spidery fungus. It's not as bad as some I've seen, but not bad enough to throw it in the junk bin. But it is noticeably there, although it's tough to photograph, and I've disclosed it--- no secrets. But it has No haze, fog or balsam separation, seen under normal inspection--- (now don't go shining a flashlight in it--- that's a foolhardy trick invented by camera store sales people to lower the value of trade-in lenses). There might be a hint of something--- but it should still preform well enough even with the fungus... or you can have it cleaned. It's up to you. The Aperture inside works fine and looks great--- no oil and it's working fine. The focus is a little tight but is smooth. So because it's a little challenged--- and Far from Mint, with a modest deficiency, it is bargain priced and sold for Parts or Repair. Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge. I try to be detailed and truthful but I can't describe every millimeter of it, so there may be an additional nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention... but they would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.
