Description: A wonderful vintage French workwear heavy canvas jacket! ~*~ This jacket dates to the 1940s, and has a wonderful dark chocolate brown tone! ! This coat is made from a beautiful, heavy cotton brown canvas fabric that is a bit stiff from lack of wear. Very sturdy work wear with many many years left of use! Very light weear~ In fact, it needs some breaking in! ~*~ This coat has 2 large interior breast pockets. There is a stamped label on one pocket, common for early 1900s workwear jackets. Very well made, sturdy material, great condition! This truly is the vintage French version of a Carhartt jacket! When you flip the collar up, there is a strap underneath for buttoning this all the way to the top! ~*~Please view photographs of construction and condition using the zoom feature on the photographs! ~*~ ( E 147 ) MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately: 30 inches long (this is the backside which is slightly longer than the front) 24 inch sleeves 19 inch shoulder ( measured straight across the top back seam to seam ) 20 inches across the chest, laid flat from one underarm to the other CONDITION : This wonderful jacket is in as found condition, throw it in the wash and it will be ready to use!
