Description: These old panniers are ready to take on the Trans-Am Trail once again. There was a tear on top of one of the bags but I sewed it up with some white button thread and a needle.. See the before and after shots in the last three pictures—probably made it worse so I’ve knocked the price down by 50 cents. If it would have come out better I would have raised the price by a nickel—win some and lose some. Buy these bags, get a 10 speed Univega with some schwinn le tour tires and hit the road, helmetless, of course. Celebrate Uncle Sam’s birthday like it is 1976 all over again. Hopefully there is no weed residue stuck in the seams on the front side pocket of the saddle bags. If there is, please forgive. - The zippers work & the strap is included. These are the big, fancy Cannondale panniers…if you could afford these back in the day your touring budget was probably close to $10/ day for the entire summer. The ‘waterproof’ inside spray coating is still peeling just like they did after the first day so trash compactor plastic bag liners will be needed if used in the rain. - Overpriced because of sentimental value and the price of oatmeal has gone up and I need some new tires for my three wheel bicycle.
