Description: For Auction A set of very lightly used hard to find Vintage Standard Long Reach Campagnolo Brake Calipers From The 70sThese have been sitting on my shelf ever since The early 90s and are in very nice conditionThese are long reach (47-57mm) and do come with a set of campy pads and original chromed holders these also have the Flat quick releases (pic8) THESE ARE BY NO MEANS A MUSEUM PIECE ON THEM YOU CAN FIND SOME VERY SMALL SCUFFS, TINY BLEMISHES, MARKS,PITS, BUGS, TAR, ETC ETC MOSTLY ON THE HOLDERS/RELEASES AND THE CHROME ON ALL THE FASTENERS ARE STILL IN FANTASTIC SHAPELong Reach Calipers With all the original parts are becoming very hard to find IN ANY CONDITION and yes these have the very rare engraved washers marked PATENT CAMPAGNOLOThese are very well maintained and still has thousands if not tens of thousands of miles left on themSome people refer to "short reach" "normal reach" and "long reach" calipers, but this is a recipe for confusion, and such terminology should be avoided. As fashion has changed, the 47-57 mm size that used to be "normal" has become "long" and the longer-reach calipers have become nearly extinct, aside from very long BMX calipers. Currently, "short reach" calipers usually offer a range of 39-49 mm.
