Description: Here is a Vintage Unipivot suspension type Galvanometer made by the Cambridge Instrument Company. It is scaled in degrees Centigrade, and was part of a Thermocouple type temperature measuring system. The movement is in good working condition. An interesting piece of measurement technology from the first half of the 20th century, about 100 years ago. Sensitivity is stated as 6mV dc for full scale!
