This is a vintage mid-century c1960’s “Stanton” Bim Bam chiming mantel clock. This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a beautifully simple lozenge shaped oak body with decorative protruding feet. The oak has a light/medium brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a white coloured metal chapter ring, gold coloured numerals and gold coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass door with a brass bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes (on a coil) on the hour (chiming the numbers of hours) and on the half hour (once). This comes complete with its integral pendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 20th October 2024.
