Description: The plastic classic – a Teisco Checkmate CM-10 solid-state practice amp. The entire cabinet is a press-molded plastic piece. Maybe two watts or so of pretty decent ss tone. This is important… there are no cabinet rattles or buzzes. Runs quiet too. Slightly brighter tone for a bedroom amp, although not shrill or tinny. As is typical with small ss amps, you can tailor your sound with a pedal. A boss DS-1 thickens the broth a little, and sounds quite yummy. Cool little amp to have sitting in the corner. Unless you’ve got the $$$ for some tube gem. UPDATE: Ebay now demands that we sellers give THIRTY DAYS for returns. Any honest buyer will know within a few days whether there is any need for a return. I no longer take returns through Ebay, but I will never "stick" another musician with any gear.
