Description: Beautiful bird (parrot?) on a branch. Likely made in the 1970s. The entire picture is a collage of natural butterfly wings. I have read that these are South African butterflies whose wings are collected after the butterflies have lived their full life of about 2 days. The art is mounted in a dark wood frame with hardware for hanging on the back.11.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide (measurements approximate).In excellent vintage condition.
