Description: Large and heavy brass functional salvaged door knocker. The main body is about 8" high not including the rod and 6" wide. The figure head is 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" with the round strike plate is 2 1/4" in diameter. The mounting rod is 5" long with 3 1/2" threaded. The creature head is about 1 1/2" thick, so the rod extends through the door the full measure of threads. The set weighs close to 5 pounds. I do not notice any maker or date marks and unsure of age.
